Visma Start!
Dashboard and CMS, bachelor project 2017
I did my bachelor project at Visma. My bachelor team and I made a CMS (Content Management System) for Visma employees and a dashboard for business establishers. The team consisted of two back-end developers, two front-end developers, one student from E-business and me as an interaction designer and Scrum Master. Our goal was to make a website for start-ups, to make the process of creating a company easier.
My role
My role was to create the concept, sketch, make prototypes, do usability tests (lab tests, questionnaires and interviews) and analyse data. I was also the Scrum Master for the project.
Learning outcome
Considering that the project lasted for four months I had the time and opportunity to learn a lot! Working for a company was a new experience for me. I had the opportunity to consult with other designers and have meetings for the board.
Being the only designer on a team was also fairly new to me. It gave me the chance to plan everything from developing a concept, to usability testing, to making prototypes.
As mentioned I was also the Scrum Master for the team. It gave me the opportunity to learn how to use scum for a project, manage huge work logs and assign tasks to team members.
